Detpak is a dynamic sales and marketing arm of the Detmold Group, created to specifically service the needs of the food industry.  Working with and supplying some of Australia’s biggest take-away food brands as well as customer groups including up-market coffee roasters and cafes, bakeries and our vast distribution network.

We are seeking an achievement focused, motivated and hardworking Business Development Manager to continue to build the NSW market for Detpak.  Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager and working with a team of Sales Executives, this role will focus on increasing business in new emerging market spaces through the utilisation of the Detmold innovation product development platform called Launchpad where you will be involved in designing and developing the most unique and leading edge technology in packaging for the food service industry. Working with end users and a distributor base you will develop skills in print process and new product development while using your already developed sales skills for sales growth and account management. 

Your business acumen will ensure identification, qualification and conversion of sales and through your customer service focus you will develop and maintain strong customer relationships.  Highly developed presentation skills will be extremely valuable when supplying proposals and quotes to customers as will your awareness of movements and developments within all industries, including competitors.  Demonstrated negotiation skills and the ability to provide innovative solutions in the market place will also be key to your success.

You will possess a well-developed understanding of sales and gross margin budgets, be extremely proactive in approach and have the personal commitment that sees you persevere to achieve desired results.  The role requires strong time management, excellent communication and negotiation skills, high-level problem-solving abilities coupled with a commitment to reaching sales objectives.
