Detpak is the dynamic sales and marketing arm of the Detmold Group, created to specifically service the packaging needs of the food service industry. Detpak works with and supplies some of Australia's biggest take-away food brands as well as customer groups including up-market coffee roasters, cafes, bakeries and a vast distribution network.

A newly created outbound lead generation role has been created to support the ongoing growth and market opportunities within this sales business.  Working as part of the Australian Detpak sales team the role involves qualifying leads,  calling  potential customers  and account managing a small portfolio of customer via telephone.

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, we are seeking an energetic, resilient and driven professional to join our team. Your business acumen will ensure identification and conversion of sales and through your customer service focus you will develop and maintain strong customer relationships. Demonstrated negotiation skills and the ability to work at a fast pace will be critical to your success.  

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and attributes:

  •   Proven ability to build and maintain customer relationships
  •   Self-motivated to meet and exceed targets
  •   Outstanding communication skills (listening, verbal and writing)
  •   Competent computer skills, utilising CRM systems
  •   Enthusiastic and adaptable team player
  •   Ability to work under pressure
  •   Telephone sales/ customer service experience is desirable
