We have an opportunity for the right person to join our team as an Estimating Analyst. This role supports the estimating team and our sales professionals in the accurate and timely creation of product quotations for our valued customers. For the right person, over time there is scope to grow and develop in this role and undertake other responsibilities.

This role will undertake the following activities;

  • Inputting a range of data into the quoting system whilst ensuring completeness and accuracy in preparation of price estimates for customers
  • Fielding and responding to inquiries from our sales professionals and other internal functions across the business
  • Providing training and guidance to users of the request for quote process
  • Monitoring and providing feedback to sales teams and managers on data quality and input improvement
  • Proactive identification of improvement opportunities and drive various initiatives

As the incumbent becomes familiar with the role and our business they must have the capability to build a sound understanding of our estimating process, and learn about our products and the capabilities of our factories in order to be able to effectively make decisions and manage the quoting workflow for the benefit of the estimating team, our sales community and our customers.

To be successful in this role you must have;

  • Systems and process thinking, attention to detail, and solid numerical and analytical skills,
  • Strong computer skills, Microsoft Excel and other MS Office products,
  • Great verbal and written communication skills and be comfortable, mature and confident in dealing with people
  • The ability to deal with diversity as this role engages with people across our company, in our factories and sales teams, in all the countries in which we operate,
  • An ability and will to undertake routine work, balanced with proactive approach to problem solving.

Experience in a similar role within estimating, planning, accounting or administration would be highly regarded, as would relevant qualifications.
