About our Opportunity
Recent sales growth in New Zealand has created an opportunity for this exciting new role within our NZ business, based in Mangere, Auckland. The National Sales Manager will report directly to the General Manager, New Zealand, and be responsible for driving sustainable growth of sales and delivered margin in the NZ business. This will include both strengthening the current position and reputation within our existing customer base through capitalising on the company’s core competencies, product range, and value-added services, as well as focusing on the achievement of growth and market penetration through driving the implementation of tailored customer sales and market strategies.

About You
We’re looking for someone who has a proven track record of field sales achievement, with strong commercial acumen, and a working knowledge of margin, and profit drivers. You will also be an established people leader who demonstrates strong personal accountability and integrity, leading by example and setting consistently high standards for others to emulate. You’ll have excellent relationship management skills, and the ability to influence across a range of stakeholders, with the courage to back your own judgement and make tough decisions.
Our ideal candidate will be tertiary qualified, with a marketing or business qualification. Prior experience in FMCG or the packaging industry is desirable.
