Detmold Packaging Board, is part of the Detmold Group, who are a leading manufacturer of paper and board packaging products with 7 manufacturing locations and over 22 sales offices in 15 countries.   

Detmold Packaging Board are based in Brompton and service the growing demand for small run cartons in Australia and offer an extensive range of products including corrugated cartons, promotional displays and packaging.

We are looking for experienced Machine Operators to join the team in a permanent full-time position at our Manufacturing Facility in Brompton.

The successful candidates will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of board converting machines and will ensure that all customer quality requirements and production productivity targets are met.

To be considered for this position you will need to possess the following:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, operating machinery
• Previous experience operating a corrugated flexo machine will be highly advantageous
• Strong mechanical aptitude and excellent problem solving skills
• Safe worker who looks to continuously improve
• An attention to detail mindset of getting it done right the first time, with a strong focus on quality
• Excellent communication skills
• Pro-active team player with the ability to work independently
• Understanding of 5S and Kaizen is preferred
• High risk licence is preferred
