About our Organisation

 PaperPak is a dynamic sales division of The Detmold Group – an international sales and manufacturing company owned and operated from its head office based in Adelaide, Australia since 1948.   Established in 1989, as part of the Detmold Group,  with the aim of providing a complete paper packaging solution for retailers,  PaperPak is the premier paper packaging company in New Zealand and Australia.  We predominately service the fashion and retail industries with printed paper carry bags, wrapping papers, gift bags and tissues.

About our Opportunity

We are looking for a focused, organised and pro-active candidate who has a passion for delivering excellence in customer service to join our team, providing maternity leave cover, from October 2018 to October 2019.  Based in Mangere, Auckland this role will suit an experienced Customer Sales & Service Consultant.

Working as an integral member of our team in our Customer Sales and Service hub your key responsibilities will include:

  • Consistently providing quality and excellence in customer service
  • Meeting warm and cold call cycles and achieving sales budgets
  • Identifying new markets and customers
  • Expanding the product range sold into our existing client base
  • Delivering a prompt and efficient customer focused administration service, including new item set ups, range and forecast reviews
  • Building relationships and maintaining the high standards of service our customers expect
  • Effectively stock planning, including management of aged and out-of-stock items
  • Providing support to the PaperPak Account Manager

As a successful candidate you will have previous experience in a similar role with a focus on delivering excellence in service and your customer focused approach will ensure your success, as will your ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.  The confidence to communicate via cold calling, the ability to close a sale and the willingness to persevere to achieve targets will also be keys to success in the role.
