Customer Service Manager

It is an exciting time in our Vietnam operations with a planned expansion underway located in Binh Duong 30km from Ho Chi Minh City.  To support this growth, we are seeking an experienced Customer Service Manager to join our Detmold Vietnam Team. Reporting to the General Manager, Vietnam and leading a small customer service team, this role is critical to ensuring a positive customer experience and being the key liaison between our valued customers and internal factories and departments.  

The Customer Service Manager will be responsible for:

  • Building strong relationships with our customers
  • Overseeing and being involved in all elements of customer ordering
  • Attending to all customer order queries in a timely manner
  • Being the central contact point for Quality Complaints and ensuring swift resolution
  • Developing and maintaining first-class Customer Service standards and systems across the business
  • Engaging, motivating and developing a customer focused and collaborative team culture

To be successful in this role you must have:

  • A proactive approach, sound problem-solving skills and a sense of urgency
  • An excellent customer service ethos and demonstrated customer service experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills and be fluent in English (speaking, reading and writing)
  • The ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • The capacity to build strong stakeholder relationships across the business

Candidates holding qualification in business, manufacturing or a related field and have previous experience in an operational/manufacturing environment will be highly regarded.  In addition, exposure to manufacturing ERP systems would be advantageous.
