About our Opportunity
We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Leading Hand to provide front-line supervision at our busy finished goods warehouse facility in Mangere, Auckland. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager NZ, this role is responsible for the supervision, support, and coordination of warehouse employees, ensuring a safe, efficient, and effective warehouse operation.

About You
This role provides operational leadership and direction to a Leading Hand and a small team of storespersons, and so we’re looking for someone with previous team leadership experience in a similar role within a warehouse environment. The ability to shift and flex priorities and labour accordingly, as the workload demands, is crucial. You’ll work effectively under pressure, apply initiative, and lead by example when doing so.
Additionally, there’s a strong focus on meeting customer expectations, and you’ll use your excellent communication skills to keep both internal and external stakeholders in the loop. A current forklift ticket is essential, as are computer skills in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel. Our ideal candidate will also have prior experience in using a Warehouse Management System.
